Everybody liked Rick.

​

Chatty, witty, funny, he was a thoughtful and caring person who asked for little. Rick brightened my life for many, many years just by being himself.

 

He split his life between Cardiff, Wales and Canada, and through this website I want to share the photos, memories and stories I recall from his time in both places. They are largely good musings.

 

Yet to tell Rick’s story without including his struggles with mental illness would also necessitate an omission of some of his finest qualities, such as his will to soldier on, his personal pride and his preference to enjoy the simple things that make up an average day.

I hope this website goes some way to filling in the gaps for those of you who only knew Rick ("Rich" in the UK) at one stage of his life. And if you have any stories or photos you'd like to share then please send them through and I'll get them posted for all to see.
